Re-examining the proprietary software protection issue in the U.S.A. for the 1980s
Franz C. Information and Management8 (3):147-153,1985.Type:Article
Date Reviewed: Feb 1 1986

This paper provides a readable, concise introduction to a complex subject. The paper provides not only a brief summary of significant court decisions concerning copyright and patent protection of software, but also a list of references (to January 1984) for more detailed study. While the paper is only seven pages long, it is very well done and worthy of attention.
