This proposal to add formally identified data to Wikipedia correctly suggests the vast amount of data mining that could be done with semantically labeled data. The authors address issues such as the use of numerical units and methods of agreeing on the names of data labels. Will people actually enter large amounts of data? We don’t know yet.
