On the approximate computation of certain strongly singular integrals
Linz P. Computing35 (3-4):345-353,1985.Type:Article
Date Reviewed: Nov 1 1986

This paper discusses the numerical approximation of finite-part integrals that arise in connection with integral equations derived from certain hyperbolic partial differential equations. The method used is a straightforward generalization of the trapezoidal rule. Higher order approximations are also considered. A numerical example is given.
