Reasoning in natural language for designing a data base
Colombetti M., Guida G., Pernici B., Somalvico M.  Artificial and human intelligence (, Lyon, France,3141984.Type:Proceedings
Date Reviewed: Feb 1 1986

This paper is devoted to the problem of interactive design of a database schema using a natural language interface. It relies on the observation that the knowledge representations used for natural language processing and for computer-aided design must have a significant intersection. The research reported is preliminary: an architecture for a CAD system with a natural language component is suggested. The architecture is sound; the theoretical foundations for the project are proper.
