Ponmurugarajan (Rajan) Thiyagarajan is an information technology (IT) professional with more than two decades of experience. He specializes in design-led digital transformation with a focus on content, channels, marketing, commerce, and sustainability solutions.

Rajan received a MS in industrial engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering. He has also earned several professional certifications, for example, he is an ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.

Rajan currently holds a senior director position at Designit, a Wipro company that offers integrated strategic design, marketing, and innovation services. He advises clients from across the retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries, helping them innovate and build digital transformation solutions. He values creative storytelling that focuses on the intersection of products, brands, and human beings, and uses design thinking to ideate and craft disruptive digital experiences in an agile manner.

Rajan has been a reviewer for Computing Reviews since 2005, and enjoys reading books and papers related to design, software quality, machine learning, and digital transformation. He has also served on the American Society for Quality (ASQ) - Quality Press board of reviewers.

Rajan is a self-described audiophile and is passionate about mechanical typewriters. He loves to play volleyball.
