The broadcast nature of wireless communication is the reason for interference. Interference is one of the factors in the attenuation of effective power and the decrease in data rate in the receivers. Network coding is a technology that has changed this destructive phenomenon into an opportunity. With this technique, it may be possible to disseminate multi-partner messages through just one data stream. The effectiveness of this method depends on the ratio of polymorphic capability of the encoding function and encoding/decoding algorithm complexity at network coding peers.
A special case of network coding, packet transmission in the network by the intermediate node, to reduce packet dropping leakage is considered. The basic idea of network coding is based on link coordination policy; a more effective policy for packet transmission is proposed.
The existence of link correlation in network transmission is the foundation of the ideas in the paper. This idea is not robust enough and is only based on experimental results without any theoretical reasoning or description of its effective components. Moreover, it seems that there is a mix between the duties of channel coding and network coding; extracting the original packet from the coded one normally should be done after the channel coding routine. Then, there would exist a reliable version of transmitted streams for applying the network coding.
Although this research is the result of great efforts, its theoretical basis is not remarkable enough for this to be considered a strong scientific paper.
